Photo tips for great big heads.
The best uploads are clear, bright, and leave room around the full head, hair, hat, or bow. We check files before production and flag anything risky.
Use the original photo
Upload the highest-quality file from your phone or camera. Avoid screenshots from social media when possible.
Leave space around the head
Hair, hats, bows, and helmets need breathing room so the cutline can wrap cleanly around the whole shape.
Face forward in good light
Even daylight or bright indoor light helps avoid fuzzy, shadowy prints.
Avoid hands or objects
Hands, phones, microphones, sunglasses, and other faces can slow the proofing process or require cleanup.
Do not crop too tight
If the top of a hat or hair is cut off in the upload, we cannot rebuild it accurately without retouching.
Send it anyway if unsure
Our preflight catches blur, low resolution, cropped heads, and blocked faces before anything goes to print.
